There's something off about New Year's resolutions.

We're supposed to have all this energy and discipline right when it's the darkest, coldest time of year.

Our bodies literally want to rest and slow down in winter, but we're trying to overhaul our entire lives instead. No wonder most resolutions don't make it past February.

If you live somewhere with actual seasons, you know what I mean. This is nature telling us to slow down, not go harder.

So this year, I'm doing something different.

I'm co-hosting a New Year's Bingo Card creation night with my friends over at Be Intentional.

It's a virtual call where we'll make bingo cards full of our aspirations for the whole year. Big ones and little ones.

The cool part? You complete them however works for you over 12 months. When you have the energy. When the timing feels right.

We're also doing quarterly accountability calls where we'll get back together and celebrate your checked-off boxes. Share what's working. Adjust what isn't.

It's like flowing with the seasons instead of forcing yourself to overperform through the dead of winter.

Stay tuned for the event page. I'll share all the details soon.

Today's Journal Prompt (Seasonal Living Edition):

What would change about your goals and daily life if you lived in closer alignment with the season you're actually in right now?

Happy journaling,
